The team at Frank Ancona Honda wants to thank the Kansas City Business Journal and Steve Vockrodt for featuring our upcoming expansion of our Olathe dealership. The expansion, which is set to begin demolition on November 1, and expected to be complete in July 2013, will add roughly 240,000 square/ft of additional parking, a new showroom, a new service drive and eight additional service banks.
If you have questions about the expansion, feel free to call me at (913) 782-3636.
At a Tuesday meeting, the Olathe City Council unanimously approved the development tool to help with the dealership’s $5.9 million expansion. The TIF will redirect increases in property taxes to offset about $1 million worth of eligible project costs.
The expansion will add 31,000 square feet to the dealership showroom, making it 50,812 square feet in all.
It also will increase the size of the parking lot and improve infrastructure on the property, which is at at 1000 N. Rogers Road.
Ancona plans to work with Lenexa-based Davidson Architecture & Engineering for civil planning and architecture, with Miller-Stauch Construction Co. Inc. of Kansas City, Kan., as contractor and Polsinelli Shughart PC of Kansas City, Mo., as legal counsel.
