2015 Honda Fit Debuts at 2014 NAIAS

The 2015 Honda Fit was introduced to the world earlier this week at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit. Honda revealed key features of the much-anticipated car, which is set to launch this spring.

At the auto show, John Mendel, executive vice president of auto sales at American Honda, said, “The Fit is a small car with big aspirations for a new generation of buyers. Faster, more fuel-efficient and more fun, it is a subcompact with super capabilities. A magically-packaged, do-everything, ready-to-rip, space wonder of a car. It’s simply the best Fit ever and a new benchmark in the segment.”

According to Honda, the vehicle’s features include

  • More power, refinement and fuel efficiency

  • All-new U.S. model showcases dynamic styling and upgraded interior packed with class-leading features and technology

  • Earth Dreams™ Technology engine and transmissions deliver heightened fun-to-drive performance and class-leading fuel efficiency

In addition, the 2015 Fit boasts a sporty, modern, sleek exterior and above-class interior refinement. All 2015 Fit models will come equipped with standard features including Bluetooth® connectivity, a multi-angle rearview camera, and Expanded View Driver’s Mirror. Improved performance, safety and efficiency round out the package.

Honda Announces Debut Of 2015 Honda Fit

Honda recently announced in a press release that the all-new 2015 Honda Fit will be debuting at the 2014 North American International Auto Show in Detroit Jan. 13, 2014.

According to Honda, the new car builds on the current model’s innovative packaging, flexible cargo capability and fun-to-drive character with spirited new styling and a spacious, refined interior packed with leading-edge car technologies. The 2015 Fit, which will be its third generation, will also offer enhanced fuel efficiency and performance courtesy of its Earth Dreams Technology powertrain.

In addition, Honda anticipates that the new Fit will earn class-leading safety ratings in part due to its next-generation Advanced Compatibility Engineering™ (ACE™) body structure.
