Tips To Service Your Honda

Properly servicing and maintaining your vehicle is important if you want it to last, but should you take it to the dealership or the garage down the street?

Taking your car in for servicing at the place you bought it, can play an important role in relationship building. For some the big benefit is simply doing business where you are known. Another benefit is that technicians at the dealership level are specialists; they have been manufacture trained and have had a lot of experience with your car model.

When you decide to trade your car in, if the dealership has instant access to all of your service records you will get more for your vehicle. It is also a great selling point on pre-owned cars, to be selling a local car that has a great service history attached to it.

AAA says that reading your vehicle’s owner’s manual is the best way to become an informed consumer. The manual will provide a detailed recommended maintenance schedule for that vehicle’s make and model. Maintenance requirements are broken into two categories: “normal” and “severe”. Pay attention to how and where you typically drive your vehicle to see which category your maintenance needs fall under. AAA also recommends some maintenance tasks to do yourself, like inspecting your tires and tread, knowing your battery life, and taking a look at the belts and hoses.

We’re excited to announce that the $6 million renovations on our building in Olathe, Kan. are now complete, making Frank Ancona Honda the largest Honda dealership in the Kansas City metro based on square footage and acres! If you haven’t already, stop by and see our new service bays, two-story showroom and customer lounge just for YOU!

We’ve expanded the building from 33,000 square feet to 53,000 square feet, and we’ll now be able to hold 600 cars on 11 acres. In addition, eight service bays were added, bringing the grand total to 36!

YouTube Video Update: Frank Ancona Honda Will be Largest Honda Dealer in Kansas City Area This Fall

Frank Ancona Honda will be the largest dealership in Kansas City based on square footage and meters this fall when construction is completed on its $6 million remodel.  The dealership will expand from 33,000 square feet to 53,000 square feet and will be able to hold 600 cars on 11 acres. Eight service bays were also added, bringing the total to 36.

In addition, Frank Ancona Honda will get a new service drive, reception area, customer waiting lounge and showroom.

“Customers that want to purchase their car from us will be wowed with our two-story showroom floor,” said Jason Heard, sales manager at Frank Ancona Honda.

Honda Announces #wantnewcar Campaign for Summer Clearance Event

On July 15th, Honda engaged Twitter users by responding to tweets with the #wantnewcar hashtag and included some personalized videos through Vine. The Summer Clearance event will also be advertised via television, print and other mediums. Neil Patrick Harris even needed some Honda advice.
